The caring and commitment that exemplify the More To Share® program are shown in a variety of ways in communities across America. Here are examples of our efforts in 2007:

Atlanta, GA — Kroger delivered 500 Honeysuckle White® turkeys for the Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry dinner held on Thanksgiving Day at Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves.

Baltimore, MD — A delivery of Shady Brook Farms® turkeys, coordinated with Mars Supermarkets, allowed the Bea Gaddy Family Center to provide holiday meals to needy individuals.

Baton Rouge, LA — Albertson’s held the “Feed a Family” Food Drive to benefit the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and presented a $5,000 donation and 100 Honeysuckle White turkeys to the charity.

Boise, ID — Albertson’s teamed up with the Idaho Food Bank to deliver turkeys to those in need with the help of Boise State University football players.

Boston, MA — Shady Brook Farms® turkeys were distributed by Stop & Shop to families of children in the East Boston YMCA’s day care program.

Buffalo, NY — Local school Charter School of Applied Technologies and Tops Markets held a Relay for Hunger to assist the Food Bank of Western New York.The food bank then distributed the turkeys to four local agencies.

Cincinnati, OH — Honeysuckle White® turkeys, given in cooperation with Kroger, helped the Freestore Food Bank fill holiday food baskets, which were distributed to constituents by Cincinnati Bengals players.

Columbus, OH — With Honeysuckle White® turkeys from Kroger, Volunteers of America delivered Thanksgiving meals to community members in need.

Dallas, TX — Dallas Cowboys players and cheerleaders helped feed constituents at a Salvation Army dinner with Honeysuckle White® turkeys and other food donations from Albertsons.

Denver, CO — Turkey donations were coordinated with grocery partner King Soopers and a Thanksgiving dinner was held, benefiting the Catholic Charities Samaritan House.

Detroit, MI — Detroit Pistons players helped unload Honeysuckle White® turkeys and other donations from Kroger for Capuchin Soup Kitchen’s Thanksgiving dinner and food basket distribution.

Indianapolis, IN — A delivery of Honeysuckle White® turkeys by Kroger and two Kids Café dinner events by Gleaners Food Bank served the community.

Jacksonville, FL — Honeysuckle White® turkeys, donated in partnership with Winn-Dixie, helped fill holiday food baskets given to the community by the Salvation Army of Northeast Florida. The Salvation Army hosted a dinner on Thanksgiving Day.

Johnstown-Altoona , PA — Giant Eagle and St. Vincent de Paul organized a turkey carve-off, a carving demonstration by Chef Tony Rizzo from Anthony’s Restaurant and a Thanksgiving Day dinner at Anthony’s Restaurant.

Kansas City, MO — The City Union Mission held a Thanksgiving dinner at its Men’s Center with Honeysuckle White® turkeys donated in cooperation with Price Chopper.

Memphis, TN — Kroger helped donate Honeysuckle White® turkeys to the Variety Club of Memphis, which provided food baskets to in-need families.

Milwaukee, WI — Roundy’s Markets, members of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Bucks team mascot Bango helped donate food baskets, featuring Honeysuckle White® turkeys, to clients of House of Peace.

Oklahoma City, OK — The Salvation Army held a dinner for the needy, featuring Honeysuckle White® turkeys donated in collaboration with Homeland Stores.

Philadelphia, PA — ACME grocery stores helped facilitate Shady Brook Farms® turkey donations to Project H.O.M.E. and Urban Genesis along with a food basket distribution.

Phoenix, AZ — A televised food drive and turkey donations with grocer Fry's benefited the Salvation Army, which donated turkeys to those in need.

Pittsburgh, PA — Turkey donations with grocer Giant Eagle helped the Salvation Army host 11 holiday dinners around the community.

Riverside, CA —Stater Brothers Markets helped distribute Honeysuckle White® turkeys to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties through a “turkey brigade.”

Salt Lake City, UT —Honeysuckle White® turkeys were delivered to the Salt Lake City Mission and unloaded by Utah Jazz players. In-need families picked up turkeys for their holiday meals and enjoyed a dinner held by the mission.

San Bernardino, CA —Stater Brothers Markets helped donate Honeysuckle White® turkeys to Community Action Partnership.

Springfield, MO — Members of Joplin’s Elk Lodge worked together with Food 4 Less to create and deliver food baskets featuring Honeysuckle White® turkeys.

St. Louis, MO — Operation Food Search and grocer Schnuck’s distributed turkeys to the Kingdom House Day Care Center with help from members of the St. Louis Cardinals organization.

Wichita, KS — With Honeysuckle White® turkeys and the help of Dillons, the YMCA held a special Thanksgiving dinner.
